Ok, so I’m a wee bit behind on posting, but these have to go up. The Red Velvet Chocolate Chip Cookies are the kind of cookie that you want to eat all of and die happy.
They are incredibly rich, oh my goodness, but they are wonderful.
The crumb is excellent when they are fresh, however, if they set a day or so (which they most likely won’t) they do get a little hard.
They hold their shape wonderfully, as well. They they could easily be cut before adding the chocolate chips in.
Unfortunately, mine didn’t turn out red, but it didn’t hurt the flavor a bit.
